Service Handheld POS Device

A Handheld POS device allows service staff to digitally record a customer’s food order, replacing the pen and notebook method. The handheld POS can be a purpose built device, an Android phone or an iPhone running POS software.   Such mobile devices are easy for services staff to carry in their pockets, leaving their hands free to serve food and attend to tables. Digital images of the food items presented minimises mistakes when checking orders. The service staff need not travel back to the main counter to prepare the payment charge slip.  They can immediately process transaction at the table.
