Take-away Orders

Fast food outlets and many food establishments accept take-away orders.  Customers may place orders over the phone or via an online website to request for food delivery to them at a specified address.

POS systems that integrate both website and onsite orders are available.  Some even have extended modules to cater to take-away delivery.

The Take Away Platform software notifies delivery staff once a food order is ready for transport to the customer.  Customer’s delivery address is sent to the handheld device carried by the delivery staff.  A location map may be launched on the handheld device for checking the way to the delivery address and GPS activated to guide the best travel route.  Once food is delivered to the customer, the same handheld device can be used for customer acceptance sign off as well as process payment.
