Cloud POS System

A Cloud POS system is fundamentally a Web based POS solution.  It it usually built with infrastructure redundancies so that the central POS database server is always available for the POS devices to connect to.

Many POS companies now build and host Cloud POS systems and provide the POS solution as a service to customers.  Instead of having to purchase upfront a large sized POS central server and worrying about a Data Centre to host it, customers can now choose to pay an ongoing subscription fee to use the Cloud POS system.  There is also flexibility to scale up/down subscription usage on demand.

With Cloud POS System, many ordering and payment processing features can even be accessed with a tablet or mobile device.
