Single location, single POS terminal

For a small single location store or a pop-up store where there is only one payment counter, a simple Cash Register Machine might be sufficient.

However, if the store also has e-commerce presence, it might be worthwhile to consider a simple POS system with e-Commerce integration.  The benefit is the physical and online inventory information can always be in sync.

A simple POS system can be a standalone computer running the POS software.  Peripheral devices such as bar code scanner, credit card reader and receipt printer can be connected to the computer.

When deciding on a POS equipment, also consider the business growth plan, whether the business might expand onsite and need many payment POS counters in future or even branch out into many different locations.
